History of map[]
Originally made in 2023 on a free app called pixlr it was made more perfect in 2035 for seasons 25 - 30 replacing the Sam Wilkinson map for the remainder of the show.
The Creator of the map states that he really hates the Sam Wilkinson map because it crams in some RWS only locations, some hit-era locations that don't make sense and the TATMR locations along with some Branch line routes that don't make sense.
Routes[]
The Main Line[]
The line starts at Knapford Where it then Curls east into the country side, and reaches the Sodor Dairy. After the Dairy the line passes by a junction nearby a Level Crossing which leads to The Lead Mines, the curls north under a Road Bridge before reaching Crosby where Duck crashed into the Barber Shop. Before leaving the Crosby Area we first pass over a Bridge and pass a Washdown Before getting out of the area before reaching the Suspension Bridge.
On the Other Side of the bridge is a Hill and Crosby Tunnel. After the Tunnel is a big wye junction for the The Loop Line before reaching Wellsworth, the junction to Edward's Branch Line. The actual Junction to the branch is Suddery Junction which is nearby, and after that is the climb over Gordon's Hill. On the other side of Gordon's Hill is the West Junction to the Ulfstead Branch Line, the under the east entrance via the Maron Iron Bridge, the the junction its self, over The River Maura and finally into Maron itself the junction to two Branch's.
Under another Road Bridge and passed the west Junction the Misty Valley Branch. Through Cronk, then under Killdane bridge, passed Killdane then passed the east Junction to the Callan Branch and the junction to the Rescue Center Branch and into the triple junction station of Peel Godred Peel Godred. After Peel we pass by the west Junction to the Kirk Ronan Branch, down hill and round the Difficult Bend, passed the east junction to the Kirk Ronan Branch and into Kellsthorpe Road.
Heading north we weave round Kellsthorpe Castle and The Lumber Mill then through a long stretch of open greenery until reaching Crovan's Gate; the Transfer station for the Skarloey Railway, the west junction to the Norramby Branch and where engines get repairs at the nearby Steamworks. Heading north are the junctions are both the original junction for the Great Waterton Branch and the Norramby branch, through Henry's Tunnel and passed the new Junction to Great Waterton.
Through a third Tunnel, passing by a Junction to both the Dieselworks and the loop back to the Mainland so the Mainland engines can head back to the Mainland with some Sheds and Yards before finally ariving at Vicarstown, the east terminus of the Main Line. The Mainland engines can head back to the Mainland via the Vicarstown Bridge which connects Sodor and the Main Land.
Trivia[]
- The map takes inspiration from all three of the unlucky tug maps: The Model series, the C.G.I series, and his version of the David Mitton map, and thus many locations share similarities:
