Anthony is a green painted, tender engine who has been working his life pulling many passenger and heavy goods trains by the Kakadu National Park and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, he is also good friends with Shane, Reggie, Serena and Heavy Harry (as well as the Aussie narrow gauge engines like Puffing Billy, Oscar, Burra, Kiama, Tully, Cairns and Wollondilly), Anthony is energetic and smart when he first arrived on the Island of Sodor to meet Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, Toby and Emily.
