James at Tidmouth Harbour
Workmen loading James' vans
"I'm going to be late for Henry at the docks. He won't like this. Please hurry up and..."
The fisherman and the workmen clearing away the fish and the pieces of crate
James approaching the Lighthouse
"High tides are damaging the track. I've marked the spot"
"It would be dangerous for heavy engines like Henry..."
"...but for James, it's safe enough."
"When we get to the docks, I'll tell them to close the line!"
Narrator: That evening, Henry was waiting for James' trucks/freight cars.
"Pah, you're late and that smell is making me ill!"
"Hahaa!/Huh! You're the only danger on the rails, James."
"I'm (so) sorry, Henry. I just can't help myself, it's the fish! And there's danger on the rails. That's why we're late."
"Now shut up and stop/quit wasting time and get your trucks/cars hitched to my train!"
James' crew speaking to the yardmaster
"What route is Henry taking tonight?"
"The coastal run, it's the quickest."
"But I told you, that's dangerous for a big engine like Henry!"
"I'll soon make up for lost time!"
Henry plunges into the sea
Henry chuffing through the sea
Henry spitting seawater out of his mouth
The Fat Controller scolds Henry
"Engines don't swim, Henry."
"You should know that by now."
"You were meant to deliver fish, not swim with them."
"Yes, sir. I'm sorry, sir."
"My, my, Henry! I expect you'll have some fishy tales to tell! But take my advice: Have a long hose down first!"
"They've caught all this fish and a green whale too!"
"It's not a whale! It's a monster!"
Cranky lifting Henry back onto the track
Edward buffering up to Henry
"Come on, Edward. Your driver says it's time for a nice washdown and head for the works to get your wheels replaced tomorrow. Then you'll feel much better."
Edward reverses Henry into his berth
"Did you have fun swimming, Henry? First, you were stuck in the tunnel..."
"Then you have crashed the brake van. And now you swam in the flood like a fish!"
The engines (Duck, Donald, Douglas, Gordon and Bear, but James) laugh at Henry
"I'm sorry I was rude to you, James."
"Oh, that's all right."
"But can you smell something?"
