Impatient Gordon/Transcript

Transcript

• ElmoRudy55: Gordon was cross. Thomas had been chosen by Percy as the "something blue". Harriet and the two engines had a great time at the wedding, and he wanted to be the engine to be chosen. That day, after the wedding, Percy was taking on water when Gordon stopped behind him.
• Gordon: Hurry up!
• ElmoRudy55: Called Gordon.
• Gordon: I'm a very important engine.
• Percy: I'm not finished yet.
• ElmoRudy55: Huffed Percy.
• Gordon: Pah!
• ElmoRudy55: Replied Gordon .
• Gordon: I've got no time to wait. Now get out of my way you big watermelon!
• ElmoRudy55: Henry felt very offended, but said nothing as he rolled away to let have a drink instead. Later, the fat Controller came back with some news.
• : There's to be some freight cars that you need to take to Tidmouth Harbor.
• ElmoRudy55: He said.
• : You must take them there.
• ElmoRudy55: Gordon was fuming.
• Gordon: I wish I was not wanted. Why can't Percy do it? He loves messing around with freight cars.
• : You will do as you are told.
• ElmoRudy55: Said sternly. Gordon banged the freight cars hard when he got to the docks.
• Gordon: I don't believe it.
• ElmoRudy55: He thought.
• Gordon: Honestly, nervous some people!
• ElmoRudy55: Just then, Salty rolled up beside him.
• Salty: Good morning, Gordon.
• ElmoRudy55: He said.
• Salty: You'd must be careful with the freight cars, they've been quite troublesome lately.
• Gordon: Nonsense.
• ElmoRudy55: Replied Gordon.
• Gordon: You electronics know too much. I can handle this job easily. The faster I get to Tidmouth Harbor the sooner I can finally go back to do whatever I usually do.
• ElmoRudy55: Salty was not amused. But before he could say anything else, Gordon puffed away importantly. On the way to the harbor however, the freight cars were shocked at Gordon. Salty had already handled them very carefully, and now he ruined the mood.
• Troublesome Trucks #1: Well that was just playing rude.
• ElmoRudy55: One said.
• Troublesome Trucks #2: (chuckles) I agree with you. Like that engine any right to speak to others like that
• Troublesome Trucks #2: We'll teach him a lesson first. (laughing)
• ElmoRudy55: More laughed. But Gordon didn't hear them. He was too busy trying to get the job done as fast as he could. At Edward's Station, Percy arrived with his passenger train next to Toby feeling rather upset.
• Toby: What's the matter.
• ElmoRudy55: He asked.
• Percy: Gordon was being horrid to me when I was getting some water.
• Edward: Take notice of him.
• ElmoRudy55: Replied Toby.
• Toby: That will never change for now. I don't know what's got into him. But you are a hard-working engine. Sometimes engines can be so rude to each, but not me.
• ElmoRudy55: That made Percy feel better, until Gordon puffed by between the two engines at a very high speed.
• Gordon: Just look at me go you two!
• ElmoRudy55: He boasted to Percy and Toby.
• Gordon: At least I'm not as slow as a snail.
• Toby: He'll probably head for trouble.
• ElmoRudy55: Thought Toby. Throughout the journey, Gordon kept on calling out the other engines rudely until the freight cars had had enough, and even the governor tried to slow down.
• Driver: Easy, Gordon!
• ElmoRudy55: He shouted.
• Driver: You're going to cause the accident!
• ElmoRudy55: Suddenly, as they approached Maron, the switch pointed to the buffers, the governor tried to put on the brakes, but the freight cars pushed Gordon on and on. His driver and fireman jumped clear as they smashed into the buffers. It was a horrible mess, and his driver was very cross.
• Driver: You dumb engine!
• ElmoRudy55: He fumed.
• Driver: You could've damaged yourself! If it wasn't for your impatience, none of this would've happened.
• ElmoRudy55: Gordon whimpered.
• Gordon: I'm so sorry. Please give me another chance.
• ElmoRudy55: His driver shook his head.
• Driver: Everyone has been given you so many chances to change, Gordon. I don't know what's got into you in the first place. But I'm afraid they're all right, some people in the whole world can't change a bit. They usually make the same mistake over and over again until everyone avoids you completely, even after that person has apologized and promising they'll never do it again.
• Gordon: If everyone ignored my forgiveness, they'll never be friends with me.
• ElmoRudy55: Mourned Gordon in his broken voice.
• Gordon: And then, no one likes me.
• Driver: That doesn't mean that everyone likes you, including me, or not.
• ElmoRudy55: His driver told him.
• Driver: You didn't want to be patient as well. Now don't ever start crying like a baby.
• Gordon: Whatever.
• ElmoRudy55: Said Gordon.
• Gordon: No one likes me cause of my silly behavior in the first place.
• Driver: Keep your mouth shut!
• ElmoRudy55: Snapped his driver .
• Driver: Now I will have to call Sir Topham Hatt.
• ElmoRudy55: And so he did when he was about to enjoy a sandwich.
• Sir Topham Hatt: Gordon was very impatient towards everyone? Well then I'm afraid you'll have to leave him where he is, I'll send to put him back onto the tracks later. Now if you'll excuse me, I'd better get back to eat my sandwiches.
• Driver: Goodbye, Gordon.
• ElmoRudy55: Said the governor sternly after that, walking away.
• Gordon: Wait, don't go!
• ElmoRudy55: Called Gordon.
• Gordon: You can't just leave me here like this!
• ElmoRudy55: But his driver and fireman had already left. Gordon laid there in the ditch. For the rest of the afternoon, he watched as the engines ignored him, scold him, and even made fun of him for his actions. As much as Gordon wanted to apologize so badly. He remembered what his driver had said.
• Driver: People would make the same mistake over and over again, even after they apologize.
• ElmoRudy55: Gordon slowly began to feel more and more depressed as he laid there, waiting to rest.
• Gordon: Who am I kidding?
• ElmoRudy55: He thought.
• Gordon: I'm a very horrid engine! How could I be so dumb not to control my anger? I can't believe the mean governor abandoned me here.
• Stephen Patton: But that night, while Gordon was fast asleep, he was lifted back onto the tracks by Jerome and Judy, and also he were 2 other pushed away by another engines all the way towards The shed . And after being pushed in there, Gordon woke up, right next to the shed were Edward and Henry.
• Edward: Hello, Gordon.
• ElmoRudy55: Smiled Edward kindly.
• Edward: We saw you've taken quite a tumble, so Sir Topham Hatt sent us quickly to fetch Judy and Jerome to help you.
• Gordon: What?
• ElmoRudy55: Wondered Gordon.
• Gordon: But why have you 2 helped me?
• Henry: Because, while you may not be the nicest engine sometimes.
• ElmoRudy55: Replied Henry.
• Henry: We know there's still good inside everyone. People who just say otherwise just don't understand what people suffer through in their lives.
• ElmoRudy55: Gordon sighed.
• Gordon: I wish the world was always nicer to others.
• Edward and Henry: Us too.
• ElmoRudy55: Said Edward and Henry together.
• Edward and Henry: But at least you have us and we can definitely promise that.
• ElmoRudy55: And Gordon managed to smile. He was glad that while the other engines might need some time to actually give him another chance. He was happy that he still has Edward and Henry beside him.
