Jerry was a narrow gauge tank engine.
The Railway Series
Jerry was designed by Andrew Barclay Sons & Co. and built at Caledonia Works circa 1919. He was later purchased by the Mid Sodor Railway.
Jerry was one of the three engines sold off in 1936, as an effort to keep the Company's head above water. His fate afterwards was unknown.
Jerry's model was built by Awdry from a OO9 scale Peco kit. The Peco "Jeanette" kit Jerry is made from is of a freelance design. However, the kit was based on a narrow gauge locomotive named "Doll", owned by Teddy Boston. "Doll" and its older sister "Gertrude" are preserved.
