Engines Who Cry: [singing] It's all about you girl, On Rosie’s birthday! Pay attention to you girl, Everyone has to do just what you say. [A spotlight shines on Rosie] You get your new coat of paint today, Cuz it's all about you! Yeah, it's all about Rosie! You're the birthday engine!
Rosie: [singing] Yeah! It's all about me. On Rosie’s birthday, I Want a Lamp, a New Coat of Paint, and new wheels. So give it up right away, all the other Engines in the whole wide world. They have to pay attention to me. It's all about me, me...and guess who? Me! [wakes up from her dream] uh oh!
Victor: [Rosie landed on the rails and into Crovan’s Gate Station] Fenders and Funnels!
Rosie: Morning, Victor!
Victor: Are you sure you wouldn't prefer Crovan’s Gate Station?
Rosie: Oh, Victor. I'm just excited because tomorrow's a very special day.
Victor: [gulps] It is? [Rosie glares at him] Oh, I mean, it is! Very special! Very, very special, indeed!
Kevin: psst! Hey, Boss! I think she woke up
Victor: you’re right, Kevin my friend. You’re right
Rosie: You have no idea what day tomorrow is, do you?

Rosie: IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! [outside Skarloey Railway Sheds was having an Earthquake]
Victor: I knew that! How could you think I wouldn't know that? What are you gonna be, 5?
Rosie: I'm going to be 7! It's only the most important birthday in my entire life. If I don't have a completely awesome party, my whole high school reputation will collapse. I'll have to drop out, I won't go off to college, I'll never leave home. You'll have to support me for the rest of my life.
Victor: [nervously chuckles] Well, we don't want that to happen.
Rosie: Then promise me you'll give me a real party this year. And don't be cheap! [Victor nods. Later at Maithwaite Station] Hi, Ladies.
Mavis: Hi, Rosie.
Rosie: Are you guys coming to my really cool birthday party tomorrow?
Mavis: I don't know, Rosie. Is this going to be as Really cool as last year, when your Victor passed out paper clips as party favors? [the girls laugh]
Mavis: Remember the time we all had to share one balloon? [balloon floats up] Please.
Belle: Remember the pony ride? [wooden horse with a paint can as a head and a broom stick as a tail]
Mavis: I can't wait to see how he ruins this year.
Narrator: The Female Engines Laughed. But Rosie began to Cry
Rosie: (sobs) Victor!
Narrator: the Engines were shocked as they hear Rosie sobbing.
Victor: Uh-oh. Everybody, brace for impact!
Rosie: Tell me you've got something really cool planned for my birthday party.
Victor: Now, now, Rosie my friend There's no Reason to get Upset. Everything is all set. Why, I've already got the party favors, bubble wrap! [pops the bubble wrap] This year's gonna be a blast.
Kevin: Sorry boss! slip of the hook
Rosie: Sorry About that, Kevin! Victor, you ruined all my birthday parties, but you better not ruin this one. Now promise me you won't be cheap!
Victor: [gulps] I promise.
Rosie: Good, because I made a list. [list rolls out of the Steamworks and down the tracks. Victor rolls it up] Now I want everything on this list at my party. [kisses Victor] Bye. I'll be at Dryaw Sation with my friends.
Thomas: Yes, Victor?
Victor: While I plan the party, I want you to buy Rosie's present. [takes out his credit card] Here you go, My Friend.
Thomas: What's this, Victor?
Victor: It's Sir Topham Hatt credit card. You use it instead of dollars or coins.
Thomas: I can buy stuff with just this piece of plastic? I don't need dollars or coins?
Victor: Now remember, nothing's too good for Rosie. I wanted to give her nothing, but she's too good for that. Now follow her around and see what she likes. You know, do some detective work.
Thomas: Detective work. I'm going undercover.
[later at Dryaw Station]
Rosie: So, that's when Nelson told me that Isobella said that Flora did like Toby.
Thomas: [peeking through a plant as he writes something down on a notepad] Flora likes Toby.
Rosie: [holding up a purple, plastic comb] Fizzling Fireboxes, this is the greatest thing I have seen in the whole world.
Thomas: [runs up to the cashier] I'd like to buy that piece of plastic with this piece of plastic. [giggles]
Cashier: [looking at the credit card] Victor, huh? Quick, how do you spell "Victor"?
Thomas: Umm... I'm pretty sure it has a 'C' in it
Cashier: Close enough. [swipes the credit card through the machine] There you go, Mr. Tank Engine.
Thomas: That's it? Hmmm, I'll never understand the workings of high finance.
Rosie: [holding up a Lamp] Wow, this is the greatest thing I've ever seen in the whole world. my Good Looking Lamp!
Thomas: Cinders and Ashes, I bought the wrong present.
Mavis: Rosie, you have got to see this.
Rosie: Coming, Mavis.
Belle: Oh...hmmm... [mirror flips around revealing Thomas. He takes the glitter gloss away from the elderly Person and the mirror flips back around]
Thomas: Now this is obviously the greatest present ever.
Rosie: [squeals] This is the greatest thing in the whole world! [Thomas sighs. Back at the Steamworks where James is nailing down a banner]
James: The banner's up, Victor.
Victor: I've had that since the day she was born. I got it on sale.
James: I'm sure she'll love it, Victor.
[back at the mall]
Rosie: This sea pony is the cutest thing ever. Do you want to come home and be my coaches? [coaches imagines Rosie being on its back] Whee! [Rosie Slams on her Brakes]
Mavis: Rosie, Come Here This is so cool [Thomas is disguised as a dog fish next to the pony]
Rosie: Fizzling Fireboxes it's Stanley!
All: Hi, Stanley!
Stanley: Hello Ladies.
[all sighing. Thomas, dressed up as a girl, sighs after they do]
Thomas: [girly voice] Isn't he dreamy? [Thomas takes Stanley and hands him to the cashier]
Cashier: Price check on 4.
Stanley: Oh, Sure.
[Back at the Steamworks]
James: I finished Rosie's portrait, Victor. It's a true masterpiece. [reveals a meat sculpture of Rosie]
Victor: Hey...maybe I should have hired that ice sculptor.
James: Ice sculptor? Any fool can sculpt in ice. It takes true genius to transform 400 pounds of raw Wheels into a work of such majesty.
Victor: Yeah. Well, we've got the decor covered. Now how about entertainment? Rosie wants Engine band called 'Engines Who Cry'.
James: Engines Who Cry? They're my favorite band. They charge a million dollars just to show up. And if you want them to lip-sync, it'll run into real money.
Victor: You're a real fan, huh?
James: Oh, yeah, I know all their songs.
Victor: All their songs?
[Back at Dryaw Station where Rosie and her friends are gazing at a bunch of things and Thomas buys them all, including a Red Paint, a Lamp, Wheels, and other gifts.]
Rosie: Wouldn't it be cool if Victor got me this for my birthday?
Mavis: It sure would be. If he was cool, which he's not. [laughs]
Rosie: Yeah, he probably got me another box of Coupling Rods. [Thomas appears on The Flatbed.]
[back at the Steamworks]
Victor: It's almost time for the party to start!
Thomas: I'm back, Victor!
Victor: Thomas, what took you so long? And where's Rosie's present?
Thomas: The delivery truck will be here momentarily.
James: Here she comes, Victor.
Victor: Everybody, get into position. [Rosie and friends enter]
All: Happy birthday! [All of the other Engines are standing in front of the banner that reads 'IT'S A GIRL']
Mavis: "It's a boy"?! [the girls laugh]
Narrator: Rosie’s friends Puffed over to the Cars of Coal and try it on Molly's Tender and Belle's Coal Bunker. Then their firemen shove the coal out.
Belle: What is This?!
Mavis: Stale Coal.
Narrator: then they Puffed over to the Water Tanker then they fill up water but the
Mavis: It looks like oil.
James: It is oil. [the girls cough out the punch]
Rosie: [notices the sculpture] Is that supposed to be me? [head falls off] It's made out of Wheels! ugh!
Victor: Who wants cake?
Rosie: Well, the cake does look good. [all take a bite, but spit it right back out] It's made out of cardboard!
Victor: And frosting.
Mavis: Well, Rosie, your parties in a row. Must be a new record. Let's get out of here.
Rosie: Wait, don't leave. Victor got Engines Who Cry to play. You did get Engines Who Cry, right?
Victor: Oh, even better, Rosie My Friend. Hit it. [curtain unfolds as R & B Music beings to play with James standing on the stage]
James: Hello, ladies. time to dance [sings] Mr. Lover Lover, Mmm, Mr. Lover lover, heh girl Mr. Lover lover, Mmm, Mr. Lover lover. She call me Mr. Boombastic Say me fantastic touch me on the back She says I'm Mr. Ro Mantic, say me fantastic Touch me on the back, she says I'm Mr. Ro... Smooth...
Molly: Hey, that is not Engines Who Cry.
Belle: What a rip-off!
Mavis: This stinks!
Rosie: Victor, how could you? I... gave... you... a list!
Narrator: Rosie Puff Sadly Away. Sobbing
Victor: Rosie, come back my friend! [crowd throws Rosie’s Wheels head at James]
Rosie: You ruined everything! You couldn't stop being cheap, even for me. [sobs]
Kevin: Aw! Don't Cry, Rosie
Victor: Kevin's right my Friend. I'll make it up to you somehow.
Thomas: That's it, Jack. shove it up. Right there. Let 'er go!
Narrator: Jack dumped his shovel full of presents and unload them all
Rosie: You bought me Coaches?
Victor: I did? I mean...I did?!
Rosie: Oh Victor, I don't know how it could get better than this.
Thomas: Just watch. [signals on his walkie-talkie] Hit it, boys! [big present at the top opens up]
