Michael Angelis UK Version:[]

  • Michael Angelis: It's winter time on the Island of Sodor. It's very cold, but the engines don't mind. They had to work even harder than usual to complete their jobs on time. One day, Stepney the Bluebell engine was visiting the island for the winter season. He was excited to be back with all of his friends.
  • Toby: Nicholas says there's more snow coming tomorrow.
  • Michael Angelis: Said Toby one morning, telling the others about his driver.
  • Percy: And you know what that means, don't you, Thomas?
  • Michael Angelis: Laughed Percy.
  • Percy: We have to wear our snowplows
  • Thomas: I don't like my snowplough.
  • Michael Angelis: Said Thomas.
  • Stepney: When do I have to wear a snowplow as well?
  • Michael Angelis: Stepney asked curiously.
  • Thomas: Yes.
  • Michael Angelis: Replied Thomas.
  • Thomas: You can wear my snowplow if you like. I don't even like that ratty old thing even my usual one.
  • Michael Angelis: Sure enough when the engines awoke the next morning, a fresh layer of snow covered of snow covered the tracks. Soon, The Fat Controller had arrived in the sheds.
  • The Fat Controller: Thomas and Stepney, you will be helping Toby and Percy while shunting truck at the quarry before your passenger duties. There's a big shipment of stone due to the harbor shipped each time and it mustn't be late. It's heavy so you two engines will have to take it.
  • Thomas, Stepney, Toby and Percy: Yes sir
  • Michael Angelis: The engines replied. But Thomas was very furious.
  • Thomas: First I have to wear my snowplow, and now this!
  • Michael Angelis: He fumed.
  • Thomas: It's not fair!
  • Michael Angelis: Stepney tried to comfort his friend.
  • Stepney: Don't worry, Thomas.
  • Michael Angelis: He said kindly.
  • Stepney: We can all work to shunt trucks. Then Percy and I can deliver them to the harbor. That way you can get back to pullin Annie and Clarabel as soon as possible.
  • Michael Angelis: Before long, the engines puffed quickly up to the quarry. When they arrived, they found the yard to disarray empty trucks were everywhere.
  • Stepney: We better get going.
  • Michael Angelis: Tooted Stepney. But Thomas wasn't so eager.
  • Thomas: I just want to go back to pulling passengers.
  • Michael Angelis: He grumbled unhappily.
  • Stepney: Remember, Thomas. The faster we work the sooner you can get back to your usual job.
  • Michael Angelis: Chuffed Stepney.
  • Thomas: I suppose you're right.
  • Michael Angelis: Said Thomas reluctantly. Before long, the yard had been clear and a long line of freight cars had been arranged. The engines were quite proud.
  • Stepney: That wasn't so bad, was it?
  • Michael Angelis: Stepney teased.
  • Thomas: You're right.
  • Michael Angelis: Smiled Thomas.
  • Thomas: Now I can go back to my branch line.
  • Michael Angelis: But just then, the yard manager walked up.
  • The Yard Manager: I'm afraid Percy has been called away for an emergency at the harbour, and Toby has to take the workmen to another job. Thomas, you will need to go with Stepney.
  • Michael Angelis: Thomas was furious to hear this at all.
  • Thomas: But I thought I was going to up my passengers!
  • Michael Angelis: He fumed.
  • Thomas: They will be most upset of my services canceled for the day! Oh, that Bertie the bus will steal them away from me like Bulgy did to Duck and Oliver's. I'm sure of it.
  • Michael Angelis: But Stepney had an idea.
  • Stepney: I'm sure I can handle the trucks myself.
  • Michael Angelis: He said.
  • Stepney: After all, I do like a good long run.
  • Michael Angelis: Thomas should've known better. But he was so eager to return to his branch line. He agreed. Before long, the old snowplow had fitted Stepney and was coupled to a long train.
  • Thomas: Good luck.
  • Michael Angelis: Thomas tooted and left to fetch his coaches. Stepney started off felt the heavy drag of the freight cars at once.
  • Stepney: Come on, come on, come on!
  • Michael Angelis: He puffed. Stepney struggled down the line with the heavy trucks.
  • Stepney's Driver: Steady.
  • Michael Angelis: Called his driver.
  • Stepney's Driver: You're slipping!
  • Michael Angelis: Stepney didn't know the route as well as Thomas did. He didn't realize that here behind the end of slope downhill, and he also had realized that Thomas' old plow was an attached properly. As he reached the beginning of the hill, he began to speed up that.
  • (Thomas' snowplow breaks off)
  • Stepney: Bust my buffers!
  • Michael Angelis: Exclaimed Stepney. His driver tried to put on the brakes to stop. But the trucks pushed him on and straight into a snow.
  • Stepney: Oops!
  • Michael Angelis: Exclaimed Stepney.
  • Stepney's Driver: We shan't go any further.
  • Michael Angelis: Said his driver. Just then, Thomas arrived. He was shocked when he saw Stepney.
  • Thomas: Oh dear!
  • Michael Angelis: He cried.
  • Thomas: This is all my fault! I'll go and get help at once.
  • Michael Angelis: Before long, Thomas had arrived with Judy and Jerome. The Fat Controller had arrived too. He was most upset.
  • The Fat Controller: You should have known that Stepney couldn't handle these freight cars on his own.
  • Michael Angelis: He scolded.
  • Sir Topham Hatt: You'll have to shunt your freight cars in the yard until I can trust you again.
  • Thomas: Yes sir.
  • Michael Angelis: Said Thomas.
  • Thomas: I'm sorry, Sir.
  • Michael Angelis: Then he looked at Stepney.
  • Thomas: I'm sorry too, Stepney. I was selfish and look where it got you.
  • Stepney: It's alright.
  • Michael Angelis: Said Stepney kindly.
  • Stepney: You didn't mean for this to happen. Now can certainly see what you didn't like your old plow. Snowplows can be useful. But when they don't stay at the front of the train when they belong.
  • Michael Angelis: Thomas hardly agreed.
