Thomas the Tank Engine for Sale is the fifth episode of Season 2 of Before & After The Adventure Begins: The Prequel Series.
Plot[]
In August 1926, holidaymakers came to visit the North Western Railway. One day, two railway enthusiaths came to see Thomas to tell him that they would like to purchase him from Sir Topham Hatt. Thomas was most worried, and left Elsbridge in tears.
Later at the sheds, Edward asked Thomas why he was in tears, and Thomas replied that he was to be bought, infuriating the NWR engines. George told Thomas not to worry about it.
The next day, the stationmaster of Ffarquhar told Thomas to go to Knapford, making Thomas worried. But when Thomas arrived at Knapford, he was surprised to hear Topham announce that Thomas would always be on the NWR, and never sold. The railway enthusiaths apoligized to Thomas for their mistunderstandment, and Thomas forgave them.
