My version of the timeline of the Sodor and Mainland Railway (S&M).
Timeline[]
1854[]
- The Sodor and Mainland Railway begins construction.
1856[]
- The Sodor and Mainland Railway opens.
- Three boxtank engines from Neilson and Company, Kerr, Neil and Mitch, are bought by the Sodor and Mainland Railway.
1867[]
- A cabless saddle tank engine from the Furness Railway is ordered, he was named Samson, because Neil's name was already given to the S&M's number 2.
1900[]
- The Vicarstown Bridge begins construcion, the Sodor and Mainland Railway wasn't closed, but the bridge was under construction.
1912[]
- The Sodor and Mainland Railway, the Wellsworth and Suddery Railway and the Tidmouth, Knapford and Elsbridge Light Railway are merged into the Sodor and Mainland, Wellsworth, Suddery, Tidmouth, Knapford and Elsbridge Light Railway.
